TurboTax Deluxe 2008 (Federal + State)

Pros: really user friendly and just about idiot proof,the import ability for w-2's is nice also

Cons: install time can be long while waiting for the inital update depending on your connection speed,but well worth the wait,

Summary: i've been a turbo tax user since my 2005 tax filing and i find this to be the easiest tax software to use...using the interview interface is as simple just answering the questions asked and entering the info..and the fact that you get 5 free federal e-files means that i can save my family members a few bucks by doing and filing their taxes for them...the onlt thing that prevents me from giving this a full 5 stars is that not all w-2's can be imported(really that is a function of your employer) and filing your state return can be pricey at 19.95 but you can get around that by going to your state department of revenue and file your state thru them(i know you can in illinois as thats how i do it)...all in all i am very pleased with turbo tax and it makes a yearly chore a breeze
