Pros 5 minute set-up. Comes with USB cradle for quick disconnect. Improves network connection and makes it simple.
Cons Absolutely nothing.
Summary My internet speed tested 10 Mbps faster than Verizon FiOS says it's supposed to be. Verizon says it's 25 Mbps but it tests at around 35 Mbps. Awesome!!!
Pros I was able to get this up and running in a pinch!
BE SURE TO INSTALL THE DRIVERS FIRST (IOW, follow the instructions...)
Cons No issues on my part
Pros Works on 32 bit Windows 7 OS
Affordable ($19 sale in Office Depot)
Fast and reliable
Easy to install
Comes with a cradle which is of big help
Cons If only it's a plug and play device then it would be much better since installing a driver thru CD is a thing in the past.
Summary This device just gave a new name to my computer "WIFI enabled Desktop". I just loved it. I exceeds my expectation considering that the salesperson nor me knows if this adapter works on 32 bit Windows 7 OS and yet it did. It's affordable ($19 in Office Depot) but I would not say it's cheaply made since it look well constructed. It comes with a USB extension cradle which is of big help especially in tight areas and limited spaces. It took me just few minutes to install and there I am, watching streaming videos online smoothly, without no hasle nor cut off signal. Well actually it happened to me once but no big deal since all I did was to refresh the screen and there I was, back on track again. I really would recommend this product to anybody looking for an affordable wifi adapter since I myself would guarantee that this thing will sove your problem especially on dealing with long and cluttered wires just to hook an internet unto another computer. There's a lot of wifi adapter out there but so far this is the lowest priced adapter I've seen in local stores and yet it works just like everything else.
Pros IT WORKS FINE WITH XP AND VISTA
Cons COULD INSTALL USING VISTA CD BUT WOULD NOT CONNECT TO NETWORK.
LOOKED HIGH AND LOW FOR A W 7 DRIVER BUT COULD NOT FIND ANY.
Summary OK TO USE WITH XP AND VISTA BUT ON W 7 UNTIL THEY PROVIDE DRIVERS.
Pros easy to use
Cons it heats up quickly. In my case, it died just over 8 months. No warrenty info could be found
Summary I will stay away from D-link.
