"Not A Good Choice"
Pros: Decent Speed
Cons: No Drivers available for Xp Pro x64 or any other 64 bit OS. Poor range even with D-link routers.
Summary: This is a relatively weak entry from Dlink. I like their routers, but even on a system that drivers are available for this is a weak card.
I'm especially disappointed in the lack of drivers for 64 bit operating systems. Rumour is that Atheros (the chipset maker for this card) has not released base drivers, but regardless x64 has been out for 6 months and there are still no drivers, and tech support can not give an ETA on them. Most other cards from other companies have drivers and if not specific drivers, base drivers are available from Broadcom, Ralink and Others.
I will no longer be purchasing any D-link Products.Updated
