Bought it today, installed software from disc as directed. Appeared to work fine. Until I restarted the comptuer. As we have multiple users on this computer, we had set up different account users,so that each kid can have their own desktop, favorites, etc. After installing, only main account user appeared. Searching Linksys database discloses that quick user switching and regular windows logon are disabled by the software because of "GTGina.dll" is embedded in the registry. What is truly annoying and unacceptable is that Linksys gives no hint on how to fix this problem. Only says the adapter could be installed without using their software! Now they tell me! It also warns that if "GTGina.dll" file is deleted from the registry, you may not be able to boot up your computer! From message boards I gather that just uninstalling the Linksys program does NOT remove the problem. This is plain nasty and Linksys should be held accountable -- and reviewe sites liked CNET ought to raise the alarm.
