Linksys WUSB300N Wireless N USB Network Adapter

I bought this adapter 4 days ago and have only been able to make it work twice. I am running W2K Pro so I figured since it didn't work when I installed it, there must be some updated drivers. I was right. But it was the entire installation package that downloaded in a zip file from the Linksys web site. Once I figured out that the installation CD was totally useless, uninstalled and re-installed everything, it worked...for a little while. The range was bettter than my previous adapter. But when I fired up my corporate VPN my system began to "thrash" and act like it had contracted a virus. I had to do a hard reboot, run disk checker, virus scan, etc. When my system came back up, I had to disable then enable the adapter then reboot. It seemed to be working, but it could not find my Linksys WRT300N router that I have been using for the past two months. So, I am still looking for a good wireless-N adapter

Linksys has shortened my life from all the stress. Don't buy. I had to go out and buy a new adapter since this one "appears" to work but doesn't really, and everyone will tell you its something to do with you or your computer, or something ridiculous to fix the issue but it doesn't do anything. COUNTLESS people from the gaming community has been trying to get Linksys to correct the problem of this adapter and they just give the run around. I bought Netgear and not only does the internet run faster and smoother, it actually works as advertised.
