I'm in the UK. I bought two of these to network my old Bondi iMac (running OS X) and an old iBook to my new iMac G5 Power Mac through a Belkin router. Set it up according to the (inadquate) instructions and it worked great on the iBook. I could surf away downstairs at great speeds to my heart's content. Same with the old Bondi upstairs in the next room to my G5. I did a software update and was very pleased. However, it just stops working when it feels like it. Some days it assigns itself an IP address and try as I might to reset it, the thing just will not work. The setup wizard is rubbish and does not save changed settings (the channel, for example. I use channel 11 and it keeps going back to channel 2). There are no proper instructions for advanced set-up and trouble shooting and the company don't answer e-mails, which is absolutely outrageous. DON"T BUY ONE. Unfortunately I have left it too late to get my money back. But I can warn others. Why couldn't Apple warn people they were discontinuing their original Airport cards, giving them a chanch to buy them before Airport Express came out?
