Pros: Easy Install - Works perfectly - Neighbors Impressed

Cons: Might Not Really Need It - Detail Manual on Disk

Summary: When I read the reviews on this card I was stunned, and had to post a review to support this fantastic product. I bought my card in June 2005, and one year later I haven't had any problems. Technically there isn't a 'detailed instruction manual' in the box, just a simple sheet, but there is one on the setup disk. But this shouldn't scare the newbies, as the instructions are clear and take you through each step. Read thoroughly and completely. My computer runs Windows XP, w/ an internal card and it has intergated seemlessly. I have heard that 2.4Ghz phones might interfere with the signal, but I use a 5.8Ghz with no problems.
I have the card paired with the Netgear's RangeMAX WPN824 router, and the range on this thing is phenominal! I share the router with my family, were we live in two seperate homes on the same estate and no problem. I live about 100ft (house limit)from the router; through cement walls, in the bathroom! Even the neighbors can pick up the signal! No problem. Actually this is the only issue I have with the system, because my 54mbps/g internal card works out to this range as well. So I'm trying to figure out if I am really using the card to its full potential. I would recommend that you use the WPN511 with the RangeMAX if you think you might have obstructions in the signal path. NOTE, there is an option to 'TURN ON' the 'Range Extender' in the router setup, so if you have range issues you might want to start there. Security setup is easy as well, to keep out those pesky neighbors ;)
