Cons: the next step backwards from NAV 2004

Summary: I have been a loyal Norton user for many years, but when it came time to renew my subscription this year, I went for an upgrade to NAV 2006. What a mistake! Many of my applications started to fail, and the support people just suggested I upgrade them too. The firewall and anti-spam features that come built in fought with my online applications so I had to disable them. And if you do, you are pestered with warnings that you must 'fix' security problems. And I suspect they are not completely disabled, either.
So I negotiated a deal to reinstall NAV 2004 and transfer my subscription, accompanied by many warnings that there will be **no support for you**. Now I am happy again, but won't be renewing next year, for sure.
