but my pc went slower and slower , so i decided try and uninstall long behold system was fast again. got all sorts of errors. it missed 5 trojans thats discraceful. norton fix it . dont touch this product if you value your pc . -

Summary Put simply this is probably the most bloated, resource hogging, piece of crap software on the market today. Unless you have a computer with above 512MB of RAM and at least an Intel processor that is 2.5Ghz or better don't go anywhere near this software. (I can't stress RAM enough.)
It really is a pity too since I personally run Norton Corp Edition which I consider a fantastic product. -

Once you buy it, you are on your own, with no way to contact tech support.

Summary I am a PC Tech, I work in a PC Repair Shop that sees a LOT of PCs. 95% of these are Infected with Viruses & Trojans. 90% of those have "Up To Date " Norton Security Products. Where is the logic in even using Norton at this time? At one time Norton was Excellent. Those days have long passed.

Summary I was having some occasional issues with my Norton Antivirus 2007. I went to the site for support, and was recommended to use the free upgrade to 2008 to solve my problems.
I have always used Norton Antivirus at home and work. This product is horrible. Over the last 2 months, LiveUpdate fails to install updates on a regular basis, requiring me to manually download and install updates. Also, on more than 1 occasion, I have received a message that said I needed to uninstall and re-install NAV 2008. I have had to do this at least 5 times and it still fails.
This application functions so poorly, that I finally uninstalled and moved to AVG. I have a 6 months left on my subscription, but I don’t even want to use it.
