Norton Antivirus 2008 with Antispyware

Pros: Very few. I guess when it ran (very rarely) it did reasonably protect my computer.

Cons: LiveUpdate fails constantly, had to re-install mutiple times, poor customer support

Summary: I was having some occasional issues with my Norton Antivirus 2007. I went to the site for support, and was recommended to use the free upgrade to 2008 to solve my problems.

I have always used Norton Antivirus at home and work. This product is horrible. Over the last 2 months, LiveUpdate fails to install updates on a regular basis, requiring me to manually download and install updates. Also, on more than 1 occasion, I have received a message that said I needed to uninstall and re-install NAV 2008. I have had to do this at least 5 times and it still fails.

This application functions so poorly, that I finally uninstalled and moved to AVG. I have a 6 months left on my subscription, but I don’t even want to use it.
