Nest Learning Thermostat

Pros: It was relatively easy to install. It's very easy to use. I can make settings changes from my iPhone. The most important thing is that it does save me money. I'm excited with the last update that could save me up to 30% on my cooling costs.

Cons: None really. It took a while to connect to my wireless router but once it did, everything went smoothly.

Summary: Like my pro's comments stated, I really like the Nest. It is learning our household routine and the light / motion sensor activates auto-away to save me money. I was on my way home from vacation last month and about 30 minutes from home I checked my Nest on my iPhone and realized that the house was hot because it was unseasonably warm and the A/C was off. I turned on the A/C from the phone and our house was comfortable when we arrived. They just updated the Nest last week with a new range setting to keep your house temp within a defined temperature range which is nice. I'm looking more forward to see how much my Nest saves me on my summer cooling bill. It's been so unseasonably warm here in Ky this winter that it's been hard to determine how much the Nest has saved.
