"Good Bang For The Buck!"

Summary: iLife is a really great suite, and I've purchased every upgrade since '04, and because of that I wish there were an upgrade price (perhaps $50?) but, given the number of programs, and what you can do with them, I think that you are getting your $80 worth.
iPhoto is more powerful and streamlined than before, and the editing tools remind me of a "mini" Aperture.
iMovie and iDVD have raised the bar once again, and now an average user can create professional looking video without being a film school grad.
iTunes is iTunes. No need to go into details, chances are you already have the latest version anyway.
Garageband has taken it's place as king of easy home recording in my book. I'm a hobby musician, and I learned Garageband in about 10 minutes. This new version gives you podcasting features that are on par with any "professionally" made podcast, complete with "jingles" and all.
iWeb is another app I really like, however, as somebody who uses Dreamweaver I was hoping for it to be more flexible and dynamic. For a theme-based web site creator, it does really well and you can even export your pages to HTML if you don't want or have a .Mac account. Bottom line, iWeb is fast, easy and looks really good.
I think that iLife '06 is worth every penny and I would recommend it to all Mac users. I only wish that PC owners could get a similar suite for under $100.
