"I was skeptical, but I love it!"
Pros: Great musical "sketch pad", a blast to play, unique sequencing modes
Cons: clunky method for transfering samples, sound set gets old, midi implementation is wierd
Summary: It's so fun and easy to use that the limitations hardly matter (at least to me). I've made some really cool stuff with it. Bringing in my own samples has made it even more interesting. If I can figure out how to control instruments in Live, I'll really be happy.Updated
I receieved me Tenori-On on 6/20 and have been playing with it ever since. It's not perfect but it's pretty damn cool. Lately I've been using it a lot to control Ableton Live and have also loaded it up with samples. The sounds that come with it get old and aren't organized so I'm always holding down L1 while I try to find the right sound. I like the look and feel of it and it makes a great sketchpad and controller.
