"Does the job, but has quality and durability problems."
Pros
I like that it will convert audio cassettes and records of all types to CD.
It has a nice retro appearance.
Cons
There seems to be operational problems with the computer. I can record both sides of a record, but can only play back one side on the CD. Can't reach program #2 on built in CD player. It does play on other CD players. Generally poor quality.
Summary
The record player arm resists being put at the beginning and wants to slide toward center of record. There is no adjustment.
Cannot playback Program #2 on CD created from records. Side one is Program 1, side two is Program 2. It does play back on other CD players.

Seems just to have quality problems. Sometimes the CD player says it is empty when it is not. No instruction booklet information on how to record. Where is volume level supposed to be during recording? How does that affect CD playback?
I purchased one at SEARS, returned it for a replacement which had more problems than the first one. I will return it again.
Great idea, poor performance.
