Pros: + Sound quality is excellent
+ Built well, looks nice, very solid
+ Bluetooth sub-woofer and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones

Cons: - Lack of HDMI input/output capability

Summary: I purchased this sound bar system as part of a bundle deal with an LG 3D TV. So essentially the sound bar system was free with purchase of the TV. For a free sound system, I definitely made the right choice (as opposed to purchasing a separate 5.1 system). If purchased separately, I believe the current MSRP for this system is around $300.

In my opinion, the system isn't worth ~$300 because you can purchase a decent 5.1 system for around that same price. But if you're looking for convenience and ease of use, along with quality sound, certainly look into this sound bar system if you're able to get a good deal on it.

The sound quality is excellent, for a system that is essentially a 2.1 setup (a wireless subwoofer makes for the ".1"). The sound quality is leaps and bounds better than the 2x15 watt speakers embedded in the TV. It also includes some nice standard software sound features, such as a '3D Sound' effect, which to me works very nicely in the medium-sized room it is situated in. It does also have a Bluetooth feature, allowing you to connect devices to it 'wirelessly'.

I have not yet tested this feature, but it seems easy enough to establish pairing as you would any other BT devices. Otherwise it has two (2) S/PDIF Optical inputs, usable via TOSLINK cables/connectors. It also has a standard 3.5mm stereo input, for connecting say, MP3 players or devices that don't have BT. The only reason I dropped the rating for this unit from 5 stars to 4 stars is simply due to the lack of HDMI input/output capability.

The head unit itself feels solid, though not altogether heavy. As such, there is a portability factor. Say if you wanted to add some nice sound to a different TV temporarily, or if you wanted a quick speaker setup for an outdoor party. All you'd need are two power outlets (or just one if you decide not to use the subwoofer). It's worth noting that this is also wall-mountable and includes the mounting hardware for doing so.

*PS: I suggest check for best deal of this soundbar at: Soundbars.********.info/lg-nb3520a/

    Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks for that review C-TG. I am in the market for this. I was able to test it out at Fry's Electronics and it sounded great! Their price was 299 and later when I stopped at my local walmart, there it was for 258! maybe its a sign I should snag it.
