The Bottom Line Sharp's skinny receiver and DVD player combo unit is drop-dead gorgeous, but its sound quality could use a makeover. Plenty of volume and tonal control make the TSX-10 a winner even before you count its above-average design and features. While its built-in DVD player is going to disappoint videophiles, the Polk Audio I-Sonic sounds impressive for its size and offers a bevy of cool features not found on competing tabletop audio systems. Onkyo's affordable, full-featured CS-V720 is a great do-it-all option for bedrooms and dens that are too small for full-size home-theater systems.
