Pros
Should enable all your old media to be updated.
Solidly built with clear, precise controls.
Decent sound from inbuilt speakers.
Cons
No needle is supplied for playing 78s although the turntable is advertised as three-speed.
Teac can't supply needles.
A smug arrogant technical advisor will tell you to search the Internet for the part you need to make it do what it is supposed to.
Summary
We married it to a Cambridge Audio amp and our old Wharfedale Linton speakers and the sound is wonderful, but as we bought it to transfer our 78s to CDs it is frustrating that Teac should sell such an expensive item without the necessary needle, and will give no help ... Read full review
