"For discerning ears and tastes"
Pros: The sound fools many of the so-called experts. It's tight, perfectly balanced, smooth through all registers, capable of filling the entire room without the artifice of systems like the Bose or "home theater" systems.
Cons: There's a learning curve to becoming familiar with all of the little buttons on the front; still it's less complicated and more satisfying, even with an HD TV, than a surround sound system. Also, the CD player can be temperamental, requiring resets.
