  • "Finally a simple way to watch my videos on my HDTV"
    4.5 stars
    on by Robt_L

Pros: Simple to install. must use a video player software (vlc player is free) Plays anything that you can see on your computer screen... in so many words it turns your HDTV into a HD Computer monitor

Cons: the signal doesn't go more than 25' It will go through the wall a short distance (15' or so depending on the wall material) It you have a Netbook you won't be able to use it for anything else while your watching your video.

Summary: I download a LOT of movies. Unfortunately I had to convert some of them to a format that my Directv Media Share" or my WDTV would be able to stream or play to my 73" HDTV. Now, I don't have to convert/transpose my downloaded media. I play them with VLC Media player, which plays just about any format that you can thorough at it . I play them on my laptop an with the Veebeam HD I can stream what I see on my computer screen to my HDTV and It looks as good. Blue-ray avi's or vobs or any format look and sound great on the TV. and the sound comes through my audio sys.
