This 6-pin version of SiK's patented multi-mode FireWire power injector for the new iPod with Dock Connector lets you power iPod even on computers with unpowered FireWire ports. No more running out of battery power when syncing with your music library. The FireJuice includes detachable dock connector dongle with lineout audio and standard (6-pin) FireWire port, and the exclusive HotWire!

If you're a notebook user, you know that sometimes you want to connect your iPod to your computer for syncing but not for powering up. After all, that would suck precious voltage from your laptop. The SiK FireJuice 6 creates a connection between your computer and your iPod, letting the player sync but not draw power. The cable has an open FireWire port on it so that you can plug in a separate six-pin FireWire cable to draw power from a different source, such as a car charger or a wall outlet.
