Pros: Beautiful sound!
Cons: I bought the 1709. It worked for a little over a year and failed. I am extremely sadden by the fact that I paid several hundred dollars for this piece of equipment that has a history of failing after one year!
Summary: Don't purchase a Denon Receiver. Be safe than sorry. I didn't research this receiver before purchasing it. A rep from Bose recommended this receiver. Cons: High failure rate
Summary: I have had the 1708 for about a year before it failed. I sent it in and in the meantime bought the 1709. It worked for a little over a year before it failed. I am assuming the same issue. Part Replaced-Electrical IC516, Hardwire IC403D to CP904,
