"For the price, the best you can get."
Pros: High End Harman Audio, sound Quality is the best you can get for the price.
Cons: It's Harman's Entry Level Receiver, it doesn't have as many options as more expensive models.
Summary: If fantastic sound quailty is the most important thing to you in an audio receiver then there is no better brand than Harman Kardon. (Denon, Onkyo, Marantaz and Bose may be close seconds.)
If you don't need 7 surround channels, and a bunch of video switching options, and other stuff than 90% of people never use anyway, then this is your receiver.
PS, don't be fooled by the power rating, Harman Kardon always uses RMS power ranting rather than peak power like everyone else. 45W per channel RMS is roughly equivelant to 90W peak per channel. I have a large house and was watching termintator 3 (kind of loud). The next day my neighbor (100 ft away) asked if I would quit watching movies to loud. So don't worry it's loud too.
