"The sound quality just blew us away !"
Pros: The sound tells the whole story and your neighbors will hate you!
Cons: Setup was time consuming but worth it !
Summary: We just got our AVR635 last week and let me tell you anyone looking to create a home theater that rocks this is it. I spent a lot of time researching all the different price ranges of A/V receivers when trying to select the right one. I wanted clean sound, clear highs and quailty bass reproduction not just run of the mill ho hum bang bang sound. I wanted live realistic blow me away sound reproduction and we got. So tell the neighbors good by because it rocks the roof.

The sound was very impressive using two Vandersteen 2c speakers with the 635 in the Dolby Virtual Speaker mode. This receiver also has the Texas Instruments state-of-the-art DA610 digital signal processor decoding chip. This is also used in some of the Lexicon surround processors.
Now, if I can only decide on some surround sound speakers. I wonder what the Bose Acoustimass 16 speaker system will sound like? Or should I just use the HKTS-14 speakers from Harman Kardon?
