"Great sounding undistorted sound." on by Coult_45

Pros: These sound just as clear with the volume all the way up.

Cons: For the price I don't see any.

Summary: Some say these lack the mid-range that other speakers in this price range have. I just do not feel that way at all. I have read a lot of reviews claiming these have great bass. I personally would never pair these in a system without a sub unless you are in a small room with the speakers in a corner. Another thing to note. I have had these speakers on two different amps. They really seam to need power. I was disappointed in there sound when they were not given a lot of watts. When I bought a new receiver I was glad to hear the improvement in the speaker response. This is one of the least expensive speakers I have seen that are capable of being bi-amped, or bi-wired. I have had these hooked up three ways. Bi-wiring didn't seam to make that big of a difference however, Bi-amping seams to make these even more clear and clean sounding. I would rate them even higher if it wasn't for the cheap appearance when the grills are off. GRAY PLASTIC :(

These are really great speakers however I have come to the conclusion that if you are going to play them loud you have to take off the grills. They make all kinds of noise at high volumes. These are great speakers for the price.
