"cannot put review with ad"
Pros: just ok but can be better
Cons: none at this time. may be no support for steve xm
Summary: I ask myself that steve guttenberg is a pro or a xm sallite salesman. How you review an item and pointed something bad because it has no support for xm sallite. your review is not fair xm has nothing to with the performance of the item. xm is an option some manufactures ad to attract xm fan period. don't destroy a product to satisfy your fantasy.

I must agree, Steve, showing your bias is not what a reviewer should be proud of.
Do you own stock in XM and not in Sirius?
The Marantz warranty info was also too close a tie with a company.
It didn't belong in the review either. -
I think the mention of support for satellite radio, or lack there of, is an important part of a review of the features (not performance) of today's home theater receivers given the ever increasing popularity of these services as digital music and entertainment sources. I am in the market for one right now and support for satellite radio is one thing I am looking for. It may not be a deal breaker for me but could factor in to my decision, all else being equal.
While I do agree that reviewers should not promote certain products and should remain impartial, I think mentioning the lack of XM support didn't taint the review. After all, he did seem to like the product overall and gave it a 7.3 out of 10. To be more impartial, he could have mentioned lack of satellite radio support and not refered to the XM brand specifically.
Overall, I thought the reveiw was OK.
