"Marantz is DOA"
Pros: Oversized hardware
Cons: Everything else
Summary: Is Marantz even still in business? This brand was DOA 50 years ago. And "streaming" (yeah right) over electrical outlets has been around for at least that long as well.
CNET editors are getting dumber by the day, almost as dumb as ZDnet.

Bob's review should be removed from Cnet as it does not review the product and has no relevancy to anything!!!!! Marantz is very much alive and producing higher end quality products.... Your DOA statement lead me to believe you got this product DOA out of the box... in the future please write your reviews on TP and flush them... Thank you..

Probably thinks BOSE is good too.

What can one say?

Yo, bobinorlando there are other brands out their besides Sony. Pickup a Stereophile most wanted components issue and see how many Marantz components audiophiles lust after. Ever heard of Denon? Marantz and Denon are part of the same umbrella company. Not only does Marantz make highly regarded consumer audio electronics but they also make highly sought after pro audio products too.

By the way did you know the soviet union is gone too.

Read the opinion. Just when you think someone's opinion could be more nonsense, along comes this. 'Nuff said.

Hey there, Bob. Being in my late 20's, I wasn't around when Marantz went "DOA" 50 years ago, but I know the two Marantz receivers I own have been doing a great job for my home theatre and bedroom. Check your pulse before you pass judgement on some great equipment.

Bob, you've dodged one to many hurricane's or you've been overly friendly with the counter person at the 7-11. Get a clue.

Bobinorlando shows his utter lack of Audio IQ and his rapidly diminishing brain power by dissing a premier brand like Marantz with his worthless review. My advice: Do a little research and actually USE the product before you offer up your 2-bit opinion. Nuff said.
