"Future Proof...For Now...User and Budget Friendly."
Pros: Easy setup, feature packed, and nicely priced.
Cons: No backlight on remote.
Summary: After months of research, decided to wait for the Onkyo TX-SR605 versus the Onkyo TX-SR674. Very glad I did.
This unit is an excellent home theater receiver, paired with Mirage Nanosat Home Theater System and Sharp LC-42D62U. Awesome sound that brings movies to life.
I'm new to home theater and HDMI, but had no problems get system up and running. All self installed. The Audyssey 2EQ automatic system setup definitely makes a difference over manual set up.
Only negative is that the remote is not backlit. The remote fits the hand well. Buttons are well positioned and easy to read.
