"Awsome power Next Gen audio"
Pros: Multi. Audio config. Looks great
Cons: Hotter then the SUN! Need lots of breathing room.
Summary: I hook this baby up to a SONY XBR2 60" (HDMI), I connected a PS3 (HDMI), a satellite Dish network HD receiver (HDMI), Bose 5.1 speakers system. Took approximately 1 hr. to set up that's including calibrating the speakers (KooL). This thing sounds great....... I've got lots more to learn, the instructions book is fairly good size and their is much more to do. I played the movie Ghost Rider (Blue Ray)it detected the HD audio automatically. So far so good. Sound is great I must say compared to my old Kenwood that I bought 6 years ago. I will say medium to large learning curve if you don't stay current with audio times. It is very heavy indeed, and required lots of room to breath, because it does create lots of heat. One other thing I noticed this morning was setting up the remote. I'm used to the Dish Network remote turning off and on the TV and satellite. Now I have this large Onkyo remote that I'm able to turn off and on all my equipment except the PS3 of course, but I'm unable to use the guide function that we all use on the satellite. I will have more updates as I continue to learn more, but overall I'm impressed. It cost and arm and a leg but I wanted to get the most from my PS3. later.

I don't know if you've figured this out yet, the remote can "learn" button functions so if you want your Satellite guide to come up just look in the manual for the receiver on how to learn functions and you can assign the "guide" button to any of the buttons on the remote. I have my Guide button set as my "top menu" button on my remote and my recordings from the DVR menu as the "menu" button. Both functions had to be manually learned but it's fantastic and works perfectly.
