Pros

I use harmony1100 univ remote and it turns my system and components on automatically in the correct order to avoid conflict. System works wonderfully as it is meant to.

Cons

The "handshaking" between my TV and receiver can't figure out my TV is on HDMI1 and not on TV.
When I turn on my TV, it sends a signal to the receiver and it changes to TV/VCR, the problem is that the cable is on HDMI1 and TV cannot be programmed to be HDMI instead of optical unless I give up volume control to only the receiver.
