Pros: Sound quality is amazing!! No seriously..really impressive. Initial setup uses a provided microphone to test the acoustics in your room and adjusts itself accordingly. The GUI interface works well. Lots of HDMI inputs.
Cons: Using this receiver as it is designed, which is to run all your HDMI devices into it, and then go out to a TV creates some minor gripes from me. I'll eventually figure out a way around them.
Summary: Bottom line from a sound prospective I couldn't be happier. Everything I wanted and more. Its very good at telling you what type of audio signal your getting or not getting. Leaves me wondering why I'm not getting Dolby more though. I never realized just how I was not getting Dolby 5.1, which is ALOT!! Technology still has lots of catching up to do before this device can be put to its full use.
