Whether you need to hook up a cable TV box, a gaming console or a DVD recorder, you have an array of connection options, including three composite A/V inputs, three component video inputs for HD video sources, and three assignable digital inputs. A slightly noisy output but has a good amount of inputs and sound quality is up there.by KevLeviathan - June 5, 2008
Pros: Has your usual Dolby and DTS decoders, supports WMA Pro which is a big plus, 192/24 DAC, high quality output
Cons: Output has a small amount of static/noise that is not source-related, remote isn't great
Review:
I'm using this with my PC and Macbook Pro (PC via coax and also 5.1 direct from an X-Fi, MBP via optical) and paired with Canton Movie 60-CX speakers. I couldn't really be happier with the sound quality, especially considering the price. This is a full featured amp with only a very minor amount of noise in the output. Recommended for those on a budget, but newer models are out there with more features now.

Great sound for the priceby Bigriver76 - October 18, 2007
Pros: Price with quality
Cons: Had to do some homework
Review:
I got it home and set up was a breeze. I turned it on and the highs and dialog was outstanding but it lacked the deep Bass I wanted. To give a brief setup of my system.... I've got 6 Sony SS-B1000 speakers and a Yamaha YST-SW215 8' powered subwoofer hooked to it. I used a pair of the Sony's for my center speaker couse the Sony center speaker was the same thing minus a tweeter and they was asking $40 more for it. Anyway if your having the same problem with Bass as me try this.... go to speaker setup....set all of your speakers to LARGE....set your subwoofer to PLUS.... for me that unleashed the thunder. Get you a dvd with DTS to feel the true power of this reciever. All said, for 179.99 theres not a better system in that price range.

Cons: no auto calibration mic, small screen
Review:
This reciever is good for the price. The quality is there, it has some cool sound modes, the remote i liked it is compact and the lay out is good. No calibration mic, pretty easy to set up this guy. The screen is kinda small. I have a klipsch set up and it sounds great.
