"Outstanding a great little receiver"
Pros: Great sound ease of use and set up
Cons: tuner isn't all that great
Summary: I bought mine for 100 at radio shack.
At the time I needed a cost effective receiver for my polk R30s and sony for the rear. Very good sound. Then I bought a pair of MMGWs Magneplaners. They are 5 ohm speakers.I used a Yamaha R8 and it wansnt very good. Hooked up the Sherwood in a sub satelite configuration withe magneplanner mmgw's and WOW!. Sounds great. I live in an apartment so I only take my volume up to about 40 tops. Very pleased to say the least. All in all the 4103 is a real champ for the money. Evedentaly Sherwood put the juice in the box instead of bells and whistles.Ive owned all kinds of amps pre amps, Yamaha Sony ES and more speakers than I can rember. The Sherwood is a buy for sub sat or quadarphonics. No pre-outs or banna jacks. But for the money you cant beat it.
