Sony STR-DG720

Pros: Only costs $200 from sonystyle.com, 7.1, three HDMI ports, works perfect with PS3, sounds great with low to mid price range speakers

Cons: For beginners like myself it kinda hard to set up and understand how all the modes work, remote sucks, no decoding for True HD

Summary: This receiver works perfect with my PS3. It doesn't decode for TrueHD but a PS3 does that itself. I have an Infinity TS 1200 and Infinity Primus 362 floorstanding speakers and all together, bluray is better than going to the movies. I bought it for 200 bucks from sonystyle.com a year ago and never looked back. You can't beat the price for performance ratio. Im not a hardcore audiophile but for noobs, this receiver will do everything you need for a very small price.
