"Excellent receiver for a home office"
Pros: 3 HDMI switching is fantastic for newer TV's and computers. Dual optical inputs cut down on wire clutter.
Customized names for inputs means you can assign a custom name to any input.
Different modes produce noticeable sound difference.Cons: Device is huge, and it gets hot during use. Surround speakers have traditional "clamp" jacks but the front speakers have hard to use screw-type connectors.
There is no "three mini jack" input for computer surround cards.

"DOES NOT CONTROL YOUR "AV SYSTEM""
Pros: Does switch between three HDMI inputs.
Cons: Only controls system components if thy are Sony brand! So, if you have any other brand DVD, TV, CD, etc, you will still have to use a different remote control for each unit.
