"great sound and value IF you can make it work!"
Pros
WOW sound, great features at a great price
Cons
the person who wrote the use manual obviously NEVER used the unit!
Summary
Why is it so stinking diffcult to write a user manual that actually includes INSTRUCTIONS? "They" said the Harmon Kardon AV700 was hard to program but it was child's play compared to this. I even tried the instructions on the Yama-ha-ha web page and those were actually inaccurate!

Okay, so much for whining about programming, if you can get past that, this thing sounds GREAT. My HK AV700 blew out and I got this as an interim replacement - if I can get it programmed it will be permanent. It sounds better than anything I have ever had.
And, lets face it, a 5.1 AVR, DTS, Pro-Logic, XM ready, for under $200...? Yes, there is a Santa Claus! (Ifg only the elves could write a decent *%#!! Manual!)
