"user manual is a mess"
Pros: lots of connection options
Cons: impenetrable user manual
Summary: Although I am somewhat competent with home electronics, I find this user manual frustrating. After 18 months of owning the receiver and countless times spent adjusting sound among seven speakers, balances are still way off and I cringe at trying again. The manual should stand as a primary example of how not to write one. Illogical, counter-intuitive, dense, just about impenetrable. It takes the fun away from owning the receiver.
