"$50,000 reciever=Yamaha Rx-v1500"
Pros: Great sound, lots of conectivity
Cons: Its big, wish I had waited to get the RX-V4600 with HDMI, Harmony 880 will make control easier
Summary: Let me put it this way, when the Hilfigers had a sound system built in their house, they utilized yamaha. (Mr. Hilfiger bought his system at the custom store I did, unfortanitly I did not have his money to spend). However, this is the best reciever you can buy for the money. Sound is amazing, all games, Counter striker, BF2, Halo, and all movies are transfered into my polk speakers instantly and with prestine sound. Component video is perfect, there are plenty of sound options, and the YPIO is simply the best in the industry, much better than pioneers. If you want a reciever you only go yamaha. However, the new yamaha rx-v4600 has 2 HDMI imputs, but otherwise is the same. I would have liked that feature for I have an HDMI DVD player, and am planning on purchasing PS3. (Blue Ray for $400.) A great system, but if it had been out yet I would have spent an extra $1000 for the HDMI
