"Awesome Sound with HDMI Video"
Pros: Great sound, good video upconvert, 1080 passthrough
Cons: so far so good
Summary: I had a JVX RX-D702 which had awesome video but not enough inputs for my system. Upgraded to the Denon 2307C1 which sounded great but the video was terrible through HDMI and no OSD. Called J&R Music and spoake to the sales rep. Who said to go with the Yammy RX V1700. He was right I have the video quality of the JVC the sound is close or as good as the Denon and the setup and OSD are better then them both using HDMI. FYI my setup includeds DirectTV HD (HDMI) PS3 (HDMI) SD DiretTV (S-Vid,Opt) DVDR (S Vid. Opt.) Ipod (with Yammy YDS10), Sirius (RCA)Sony CD Jukebox (Opt.) with room for more. Inputs are all renamed and my wife has no problems after I programmed the Logitec Harmonay 880. Will post again in a month with update.

Hi, How did you connect up your Sirius radio receiver? I'm on the fence as to which receiver to buy and really wanted one that would be compatible with Sirius, not XM. The biggest selling point for me for this unit is the upconversion (besides being a Yamaha). Thanks.
