    "Garbage, has HDMI problems"

    by TimGray--2008 on June 9, 2009

Pros: It works for multiroom and audio is good

Cons: HDMI switching is horrible. I had to back everything down to 480p to get it to switch reliably.. Not cool. Also the component in does NOT upscale to HDMI unless it's 480P only.

Summary: Dont buy this receiver. Get the next one up from Yamaha that actually does what it advertises or another model that can handle HDMI correctly with full HD resolutions. 1080p will not work through this receiver.
