"the jury is still out. component video output not good"
Pros: audio output is okay but not as great as i was told.
Cons: poor composite video out to my tv monitor
Summary: Does not meet my expectations based on the store salesman's comments about the unit. I couldn't get the color right when connected my dvd directly to the unit with composite cables. okay with the dvd connected to tv and audio coaxle to the receiver. Sound not as advertised either, not as dynamic a difference from my old yamaha 403. only wanted to upgrade to composite video connection otherwise would have gone back to the old yamaha 403. ease of connection maybe the only plus for me with this unit.
