"Better than Vista Backup, but not much better"
Pros: Seems to be reasonably stable and better than Vista's backup, but what isn't
Cons: Inflexible, convoluted interface, no support
Summary: If you are using Windows Vista Backup you will probably find Norton Save & Restore 2.0 somewhat of an improvement. However, Save & Restore is no where near as comprehensive, flexible or easy to use as Windows XP Backup, which will not run under Vista. The documentation for Save & Restore is fair but incomplete and support is nonexistent. I have run four backups and only had one crash in Save & Restore. It could not successfully cancel when the external hard drive was full. The really bad news is that I have not been able to find anything better. Small choice in rotten apples between Vista Backup and Norton.
