"MISLEADING TO CALL THIS A MAC MINI CLONE"
Pros: Who the hell knows, I don't own one.
Cons: Did you see my previous comment?
Summary: Its misleading to call this a Mac Mini clone when it doesn't even run the Macintosh operating system. I wish the good folks at Cnet had enough journalistic expertise to know that you can't write misleading taglines for your stories.

I find it amusing how Mac users FREAK whenever anyone crosses the line into their space.
I think the point of this review is the form-factor is that of a Mac Mini, not the OS. Seems very clear to me.
No reason to tell Mac users to chill out and take a pill, because they won't. Interesting psyche, must be something to do with the fact that Mac users are such a minority in the computing world, they have to shout louder to be heard.
BTW, I love Macs, and would love to own one, I'm just not that compelled to shell out the dough, my XP system works fine.

Considering that, from the last time I checked, Apple is the only manufacturer recently that can legally install Mac OS on their systems, it makes you wonder why there would be dissapointment when it's found out that AOpen is not using MacOS, producing a true MacMini clone. Is it either A) Apple lovers looking for another reason to bad mouth pc's B) people to cheap to buy the real thing C) people looking for something to complain about or D) all of the above.

Those of us who actually owned one of those real (and beloved) Mac clones from the days prior to Steve Jobs's return to Apple, know all too painfully wel that REAL Mac clones will never be - again <sigh>.
The closest thing a "Mac Clone" can be today, is something that kinda LOOKS like the Mac it's trying to imitate.
We understand - in spite of what you said. -
to the common shopper who will not know what hit their wallet after purchasing a 2.5 inch hard disk, memory, and then damaging the motherboard while installing these expensive necessities--thereby tossing the piece of crap. Hey, you guyz should try an attention getting, below-the-hem tag line like: wow! c-net stockings!

I agree that it is misleading to call this a Mac Clone. How can it be a mac clone if it doesn't run OSX? If apple came out with a cosmetic copy of, say, a Dell XPS but it only ran OSX, would you call it a Dell clone? The video review does not mention which operating systems it runs - from the title I should assume it runs OSX, right? Nice rundown on the hardware features and layout, but c'mon, get the OS bit right
