Best PS2 (PlayStation 2) games

The Sony PlayStation 2 is the elder statesmen of its console generation, but it's also the silver fox, outlasting two consoles that came out a year after it. While the Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube languish as the companies behind those consoles rush to support newer endeavors, Sony has pledged support for the superpopular PS2 for years to come, even as the PlayStation 3 has been released alongside it.
