"Disappointing performance and you don't even get dinner"
Pros: What I liked was the cost and the digital audio output jacks and well as it seems to have loads of features such as Digital TrueHD, DTS-HD and PIP.
Cons: No 2.0 USB port like store advertisement said. Crappy at switching from 1st layer to 2nd layer on dual layer discs. If you don't select something it exits the setup menu after like 5 secs, makes start over. BD profile 1.1 requires an SD card.
Summary: Watched Dark Knight (BD disc) and Twister (BD disc) at 1080i using HDMI, EVERY 5 mins video portion stops for about 10 secs when it resumes, audio is going so you miss that part of movie. Manual says "normal" while player switches to 2nd layer of disc. So I switched the blu-ray disc to 720p resolution, still had the same problem. Switched to DVD movie at 480p and guess what??? Still had the same problem!!
It was like being at theater and having a steady stream of people walk infront of you blocking your entire vew of the movie each time they pass by, and changing seating doesn't do anything.
Pay the extra $30-$50 and get one that doesn't have this problem.
