Pros: Outstanding picture and Sound!! I have it hooked up to my Pioneer Kuro 5010.
Cons: Price. but if you want the best, you gotta pay top dollar.
Summary: I consider the BDP-05FD the 2nd best blu ray player... My first choice would be BDP-09FD but ill wait till the price drops, it retails for 2200.00

Pros: selectable video outputs 480-720-1080i-1080p-24fps and 1080p-60fps. yes 60fps
hdmi control, just push play and your tv will automatically change the input so you can instantly watch your movie. I also like the built in hd audio decoder
Cons: price but if you want quality you have to pay.
Summary: I like this better that my PS3.
