"Has problems"
Pros: Not bulky with somewhat fast startup
Cons: Won't eject disks it can't read
Summary: This player will not eject disks that it has problems reading. It just stops with a image on the screen and your hung. You have to disconnect the power cable. Don't attempt a firmware upgrade via the usb port unless you want to disable your unit completely (Don't risk it). It looks like it could be a good unit with some further improvements.

i guess this one is going back to Sams before i open the box. too many cons.

I agree. I did a firmware upgrade and now this player tells me all the disks it previously played with no problem are incompatible. I called Sharp and they are having me send it in for repair. Meanwhile, I'm snowbound in a northern winter with no entertainment.
