Pros: I loved the Netflix streaming and the DVD quality was fine. The blu-ray quality was as expected.
Cons: I regularly had blu-ray discs get stuck on the menu screen.
The machine simply stopped working.
LG technical support is absolutely un-helpful. They are counting on the fact that you do not have your receipt so they won't have to help you.
Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!
I loved the machine for the first month I owned it. Once I hooked it up to a network, the streaming movies were great.
The problem occured the day the "Please Wait" message appeared on the unit's display two weeks ago. I am still waiting. I attempted to reset the machine as directed by manual. I called LG. They told me to reset it as well with no success. Then they told me that without the receipt - for my christmas gift - they wouldn't help me. Also...if I can find the receipt they need me to ship the unit back to them with a check for $69 to fix it.
I have a blu-ray player that is basically a paper weight. It will cost me $69 plus shipping to possibly get it fixed IF I can find the receipt.
