Pros: Played the one disk I got to try, easy to connect to network.

Cons: Firmware update took multiple attempts.
Premium application function for streaming services would not load.
Player slow to boot up when powered on.

Summary: Will not buy LG again, quality control and customer service are a joke. I was a cable tech and installer and am very comfortable around AV equipment. When I first booted up the player it was quick to connect to my wired network but it took two tries to get the firmware to update. Then when trying to access the streaming services in order to set up Netflix I would hang in a black screen for several minutes before returning me to the home screen. I called LG Support and the support tech sounded half asleep. After walking me through a simple reset (which I had already tried) which did not work their next answer was that the player would need to be sent to them for service. I will be returning the player to the store and will be looking for a more reliable brand.
