Cons No built in WiFi. When navigating Netflix the system is really slow compared to using my XBOX 360. Somewhat overpriced because of the reasons listed above.
Summary I got a Panasonic mainly because I have a New Panasonic TV and wanted to use the Viera system to access Netfilx. I read reviews about the picture quality being the best and I can say I am really satisfied. I just replaced a 10 year old DVD player (also a Panasonic) so I am not complaining about the looks of this unit. Some people say that it is bulky and ugly but I don't agree with this at all. I actually like the look of this player and thought it was actually sleek and cool. If I had not had a Panasonic TV, I would consider another player with the same options in this price range.

on by aban60Pros Sharp, crisp picture. Netflix streaming is great . watched the blu-ray disc "UP" and the detail was excellent. Great player with the addition of Netflix , Easy account set-up
load times were good. You get a "free WiFi I use a hardwired connection.Cons DVD up-scaling. Was not so hot .I have a 26 inch monitor/TV Samsung T260 HD, my computer is handy. DVD plays better in the computer drive ( I was using The Hangover for the test ) BTW I am using HDMI cables and have updated the firmware.
Summary All in all the player is great for the medium price range and now that Panasonic has the Netflix /Vera-cast deal done
Great internet content !! As I said before, the picture is well detailed and crisp. DVD up-scaling, not so hot ,maybe this will be fixed in a firmware update. You get a "free WiFi dongle ...I think the Sony dongle is like 80 bucks
After reading reviews for 2 weeks This is the one I settled on. I love the C-NET user reviews as they tell it like it is and are based on real world experiences with the products .... I got Best Buy's 2 year plan, Just to be on the safe side.
I'm gonna watch 2012 tonight .....
