Pros: Slot loading, great design, fast loading, slick remote, perfect picture and easy setup make this the best Panasonic blu-ray player I have bought to date. Access to the net is easy with so many sites to visit, I just haven't got to them all.

Cons: Getting to used to the touchpad remote may be difficult for some used to buttons, but these virtual buttons come up on the screen now, which could be an advantage over fumbling for the usual small ones on other remotes in a darkened HT room setting.

Summary: I have had many Panasonic blu-ray players over the past years blu-ray has been out and I will continue to buy them from Panasonic as long as their players are so good, as they hold up so well. I keep 3 in my home at a time, once for every HDTV setup in the house. As they come up with new models, I upgrade, selling or giving away the older models to family members just getting into Home Theatre setups. I still have my 2 210 models and enjoy them, but the slot loading is what attracted me to this model as well as the touchscreen remote. There is light on next to the slot drive that alerts you that the unit is on, it is bright blue and then goes white when a disc is inserted, a nice feature and it does not bother me, I think you can turn it off. I like the fact there is no tray to pop out, as I sometimes tortured these on the other players. I actually like the remote as in a darkened room, I can find the on screen button and hit the keys there with the touch pad and the two command buttons to turn the on screen and off screen on the remote are large enough to find, but having those lighted would have been better. Would I replace this model with my older 210's? Yes, but this one is enough for now and if this one holds up, as other Panasonics have in past, I will keep buying more of them as the update their models. The net access is smooth, I have used many of them without problems and will use VUDU HD as my movie pass as it seems to provide the best picture and audio of all of them and I had no setup problems at all.
